Our Philosophy
Avenue Advanced Skin Care has been established adjacent to, and under the medical supervision of, Avenue Plastic Surgery. We continually seek to provide an unparallel standard of care for our patients. Under the supervision of one of Victoria's most experienced plastic surgeons, we aim to provide the best in skin care in a medical environment.
At Avenue Advanced Skin Care we recognize that our skin has a most important role. Not only is it our body's largest organ designed to protect us from the elements but also our skin reveals whether we are hot or cold, tired or rested, sick or healthy. Our skin makes a most important first impression for us. As we age, our skin changes in response to the environment, particularly the sun. The skin is affected by many conditions ranging from acne, scarring, pigmented blemishes, red vascular lesions and even skin cancer. Our skin deserves the best care and maintenance that we can provide.

We are committed to providing our patients with the latest and safest skin treatments. We were the first to introduce the Palomar Starlux IPL Machine for hair removal and Photo-Facial skin rejuvenation. This has since been voted the number 1 in the world. We were the first to introduce the LUX-R Head which enables us to treat all skin types and even sun tanned skin. We were the first in Australia to introduce the latest generation Fractional Laser for non ablative skin resurfacing. We were the first to introduce the Silk Peel Dermal Infusion - the next generation in "micro dermabrasion". Our exclusive Cosmedics and Results RX range of products are regarded as "world best" and are available only under medical supervision.

Practice Manager
Esma Hubanic completed her Diploma in Beauty Therapy in 2002.
Since then Esma has had extensive experience in the beauty therapy field working as a therapist in beauty salons and medical clinics around Melbourne.
Esma also obtained her certificate IV in Workplace and Training and has worked as a trainer teaching the Diploma of Beauty Therapy.
She looks forward to meeting you and helping you with any concerns you may have.
Michelle Casey
Michelle has a Diploma in Health Sciences (Beauty Therapy) from Victoria University.
Michelle also holds Advanced Certificates in Laser Hair Removal, Microdermabrasion and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) photo rejuvenation for the treatment of rosacea (redness) and pigmentation. She has also successfully treated patients with acne scarring, utilising the most advanced laser technology.
Certified by several leading cosmetic and skin care houses, Michelle has the knowledge and experience to analyse the skin of each individual and to prescribe the most effective treatment. Michelle is a qualified makeup artist with years of experience in special occasion makeup.
Michelle's 16 years of professional experience is diverse and extensive, ranging from working in a leading dermatology practice with patients experiencing severe skin conditions, to working as a Beauty Therapist / Trainer on luxury cruise liners from New York to Bermuda. Michelle looks forward to bringing you the benefit of her skills and experience.
Lilly Lavakeiaho
Lilly Lavakeiaho obtained her Diploma in Beauty Therapy in 2002 and has now worked in the industry for over 5 years. Lilly is highly motivated and strives to stay ahead in her field through on-going education. She has acquired her certificates in paramedical aesthetics and advanced skin care, specifically in the science of exfoliation peeling.
Lilly offers an extensive range of skin care services including Visia Complexion Analysis, Dermasweep Micro-dermabrasion with dermal infusion, Fractional Laser Resurfacing, IPL Hair Removal, Photo Facials and the latest in medical skin care.
Lilly is also our in house expert on UltraShape Body Contouring. Working closely with our medical and nursing staff, Lilly has become one of Melbourne’s most experienced Ultrashape consultants.
Lauren Wesley
Lauren Wesley completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy in 2004
She began working in NSW and then moved to Melbourne to continue working as a therapist but also expand her knowledge in this field by enrolling in a degree in Health Science, Dermal Therapies at Victoria University.
Lauren is in her last year of study and is keen to know more about the dermal field.
Lauren has extensive experience in skin peels, microdermabrasion, acne skin concerns, lasers and many other treatments within this industry. She looks forward to meeting you and helping your skin concerns.
